Social Media Marketing has been a central aspect of my role at Leisure Electronics. Within just a few months, I took on the responsibility of managing all the social media platforms, which included creating graphics, posting content, writing captions, and more. My colleagues and I decided to create a standardized template for our Facebook posts, incorporating consistent headers and footers. The footer featured important safer gambling information, while the header was added to minimize floating text on the graphics. I also made a point to include the presenters in most of our posts, as they are the key selling point for the Live Bingo experience and play a significant role in creating a personal connection with the players. As the months passed, we saw an increase in both reach and engagement.
In June 2024, I shifted our focus to short-form video content on Instagram and TikTok. The decision came after noticing that our graphical posts were not receiving as much engagement on Instagram, whereas TikTok content had performed exceptionally well, with some videos reaching up to 450k views. Since transitioning Instagram to short-form videos, we've seen a noticeable increase in engagement.
To stay organized and monitor post performance, I rely on Meta Business Suite. I’m proficient with all aspects of the platform, including managing paid ads. I suggested we run Meta Ads for BingoPlus to drive more traffic to the website. After researching best practices for creating effective ads, I developed and launched campaigns. Within the first two weeks, the ads reached 675,000 accounts, generated 12,300 clicks, and cost £2,000—well within budget, which allowed us to allocate the remaining funds to other initiatives.
